In the ten years since the publication of the second edition of Rock Climbing Arkansas, Arkansas sport climbing has exploded in total route count and burst onto the national scene. Climbing in Arkansas has long revolved around the venerable Horseshoe Canyon Ranch. In this third edition, which is now split into two volumes, over 500 routes at Horseshoe Canyon are covered, along with more than 2,500 other sport, trad, and mixed lines.
