What's the difference? 

Lotions are comprised of tiny little droplets of oil, floating in water.  Usually about 25% of the nourishing oils, and 75% of the aqueous phase.

Creams are the opposite ratio.... little water droplets floating in the oil phase. more of the good stuff, and less water to evaporate.
